The Home & Things project in Reading, Montego Bay, was a major undertaking that combined both renovation and new construction to deliver a modern warehousing and showroom facility for one of Jamaica’s leading home and building finishes retailers.

Marcore Construction was responsible for overseeing the entire construction process, which involved a balance of adapting existing structures while also managing out-of-ground builds and the fit-out of new spaces. To execute effectively, our management structure deployed a site supervisor and a general foreman, working under our direction to maintain quality and consistency across the evolving project scope.

Given the client’s dynamic requirements, the use of flexible project scheduling was key. Marcore managed a schedule that was consistently updated to reflect new client variations, ensuring that all changes were seamlessly integrated into the ongoing construction plan. By applying disciplined oversight and adaptability, we kept the project moving forward without compromising standards.
